The U.S. Currency Reader Program, provided by the Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP), offers free iBill® Talking Banknote Identifiers to U.S. citizens and legal residents who are blind or visually impaired. This small, pocket-sized device announces the denomination of paper currency aloud, through vibration, or with earphones for privacy. The program ensures greater financial independence and accessibility for individuals with vision loss.
